Then there’s The Blind Tiger, a Mississippi staple and the kind of waterfront hangout that makes it dangerously easy to lose track of time. Grab some food, order a drink, find yourself a spot, and settle in. Nobody’s rushing you.Cuz’s brings the poboys and Bushwackers, which is honestly a pretty convincing argument for stopping all by itself. Good Gulf Coast food, a frozen drink in your hand, and nowhere important to be? That’s vacation.And Dan B’s has that comfortable, neighborhood-bar feeling where you walk in as a visitor and somehow don’t feel like one for very long.That might actually be my favorite thing about Bay St. Louis.People make you feel like you belong here.

And instead of making newcomers feel like outsiders, people seem genuinely happy to welcome you into the fun.
